1. Company and Contact Information
The online store is operated by:
LilBi AS
Org. no. 937 881 339
Haakon VII's gate 8A
9011 Tromsø
Norway
Email: hello@lilbi.no
Website: lilbi.no
These terms apply to all purchases made through our online store.
For consumer purchases, mandatory Norwegian consumer protection legislation applies in addition to these terms. In the event of any conflict between these terms and mandatory legislation, the legislation will prevail.
2. Products
We do our best to provide accurate and complete descriptions of our products.
Product images are intended to provide as accurate a representation as possible. However, colours and details may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting conditions and any changes to packaging or product design made by the supplier.
Availability and stock status may change. If an ordered item is nevertheless unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Product-specific instructions for use, age recommendations and safety warnings must always be followed.
3. Orders and Formation of the Contract
A binding purchase agreement is entered into when you have submitted your order and received an order confirmation from us by email.
You are responsible for checking that your name, contact details, delivery address and order information are correct. Please contact us as soon as possible if the order confirmation contains any errors.
We reserve the right to cancel or reject an order in the event of:
• obvious pricing or product errors
• insufficient stock
• suspected fraud or misuse
• other circumstances that prevent the order from being completed lawfully or responsibly
If a paid order is cancelled, the amount paid will be refunded without undue delay.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in Norwegian kroner (NOK). The stated product price is the total price you pay for the item. Any shipping costs and other additional charges are displayed at checkout before the order is completed.
You can pay using the payment methods available at checkout. Payment is processed by the selected payment provider and is subject to the provider’s own terms and conditions.
The timing of any authorisation or charge depends on the selected payment method and will be stated in connection with the payment.
5. Shipping and Delivery
All in-stock items are shipped from our warehouse in Norway. Certain larger items, such as beds and furniture, may be shipped directly from the supplier. This will be stated on the relevant product page.
If an order contains both in-stock items and items shipped directly from a supplier, the order may be delivered in multiple shipments and at different times.
Available delivery options, shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed on the product page or at checkout before the order is completed. Large and heavy items may have separate shipping rates, delivery methods and longer delivery times. The carrier may contact you directly to arrange delivery.
All mandatory shipping and delivery costs are disclosed before the purchase is completed. You will not be charged customs duties, import taxes or customs clearance fees upon receipt of the goods.
Stated delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the supplier’s or carrier’s capacity, weather conditions, holidays and other circumstances beyond our control. If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as possible. In the event of a delay, you have the rights provided under Norwegian consumer legislation.
LilBi AS is your contracting party and responsible point of contact for the purchase, including when an item is shipped directly from a supplier. The risk for the goods passes to you when you, or a person designated by you, have received them.
When making a return, please follow the return instructions applicable to your order. Larger items or items shipped directly from a supplier may be subject to separate return instructions and a different return address. In such cases, you will receive the necessary information before returning the goods.
Parcels that are not collected or accepted may be returned to us. An uncollected parcel is not automatically considered an exercise of the right of withdrawal. Where permitted by law, we may require reimbursement of documented costs associated with shipping and return.
6. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing online.
The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a person designated by you, receive the goods. For orders delivered in multiple shipments, the period normally begins on the day after the final item is received.
You must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal within the applicable period. You can contact us at hello@lilbi.no or use the withdrawal form provided with your order.
The goods must be returned no later than 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods unless otherwise agreed or stated by us. You are responsible for ensuring that the goods are securely packaged and returned.
You may inspect the goods in the same way as you would in a physical store. You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
The right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to:
• goods made to your specifications or that have been clearly personalised
• sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if the seal has been broken after delivery
You can find more information in our Return and Refund Policy.
7. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.
When the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, we will refund the amount in accordance with applicable law. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been returned.
As a general rule, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
The right of withdrawal and the right to make a claim concerning a defect are two separate rights. If the goods have a defect or lack of conformity, the provisions concerning claims apply.
8. Defects, Damage and Claims
If an item is damaged, defective or does not correspond to your order, please contact us at hello@lilbi.no within a reasonable period after discovering the issue.
Please include your order number, a description of the problem and relevant photographs where possible. This will help us process your case.
Your rights to make a claim are governed by the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act. The time limit for making a claim is normally two years, or five years if the goods are intended to last substantially longer than two years.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, termination of the purchase or a refund in accordance with applicable law.
9. Liability
LilBi AS is responsible for fulfilling the purchase agreement in accordance with applicable Norwegian law. Nothing in these terms limits the customer’s statutory rights.
Products must be used in accordance with their intended purpose and any instructions for use, assembly instructions, age recommendations and safety warnings. LilBi AS is not liable for damage caused solely by improper or unsafe use, incorrect assembly, lack of maintenance or modifications made by the customer to the product after delivery, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
This does not apply where the damage is caused by a defect or safety issue with the product, inadequate or misleading instructions or warnings, failure to comply with applicable safety requirements, or other circumstances for which LilBi AS is legally responsible.
If you discover that a product may pose a safety risk, you should stop using it immediately and contact us at hello@lilbi.no. In the event of safety notices or product recalls, the instructions provided by LilBi AS must be followed.
LilBi AS is liable in accordance with applicable mandatory consumer legislation. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not a reasonable and foreseeable consequence of our act or omission.
We are not liable for damage resulting from use contrary to the product’s instructions for use, age recommendations or safety warnings, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
10. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
You can find more information about the personal data we collect, how it is used and the rights you have in our Privacy Policy.
11. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by extraordinary events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural events, serious transport disruptions, strikes, war, government measures or widespread technical problems.
This does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer legislation.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
The content of the website, including text, graphics, logos, design and other materials, belongs to LilBi AS or the respective rights holders.
The content may not be copied, published, distributed or used commercially without written permission from LilBi AS or the relevant rights holder.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these terms as necessary.
The terms in effect at the time the order was placed apply to that purchase. The latest version will always be available on this page.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms and all purchases made through the online store are governed by Norwegian law.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at hello@lilbi.no so that we can try to find a solution.
If we are unable to reach an agreement, the consumer may request mediation from the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet). Disputes may also be considered by the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget) or the ordinary Norwegian courts in accordance with applicable rules.
